Karl Geisler & Keith Warren
Karl Geisler’s career in the music industry began behind the scenes and not behind the decks. In 2003 Karl became promotions and events manager of Rawstar Music International, an independent digital downloads site designed to promote up and coming unsigned producers and electronic artists. Karl also co-owned two successful club nights called ‘Club Raw’ and ‘Elevate’ alongside Rawstar owner and House music guru Lee Alexander. In 2009 Rawstar joined forces with The Soulavengerz to bring their infamous ‘Dirty’ brand to South London at The White House in Clapham. Since joining the DJ circuit in 2004 Karl has had the privilege to have played at some of the most prolific venues and promotions in club land, such as Ministry Of Sound, Pacha London, Turnmills, Miss Moneypenny’s, Defected In The House plus many more. Playing nothing but heavyweight house Karl is honoured to be presenting a weekly show to the selectuk masses. Currently working on several production projects giving the electronic world his own spin on his beloved electro, progressive and upfront house genres 2012 is set to be a big year.
With a Trance background, Keith Warren was introduced to House music through the Progressive sub-genre, eventually broadening his selection playing Electro, Tech & Funky as well. He then started playing out with residencies at local clubs close to home, before playing bigger clubs both in and around London (Ministry of Sound, Pacha, The Lightbox and The Egg Club to name a few). It was through playing out, where Keith decided to try and start producing house music himself, in order to give his sets a unique feel. So he started to remix classic and well known tracks, eventually moving on to creating original mixes. After becoming familiar with the production side of music, he decided to try and create different sub genres of House Music including Electro, Tech. Progressive and Funky, and is currently working on various projects with different artists.
