Matty D

Matty D. plays the very best in Jacking Tech, Soulful House and ’95 Garage. He started out at the age of 16, tagging along with his older brother (JR Perez) who was DJ’ing in clubs up and down the country. After getting the bug and getting his own set up, he started playing in small venues and bars. Matt soon ran a night called NPP with Jimmy Read and played in Hastings, Soho, Zebra Bar and Plastic People to name but a few. He played his first big gig at Club UK in Brighton, Colchester, Oxford, the venue in Ilford & No 4 in Kingston. He’s had a regular show on lots of radio stations including Upfront fm 99.3, Supreme Fm 96.1, Dance uk 96.1, Flashback 97.6, R House 98.2 and SelectRadioUK.com. More recently Matt’s been producing his own music and is currently working on an EP that will be available to download soon, working along side Digital Soul & Audio Graphitti. Matty was a resident at Bar Risa in Portsmouth, worked with Bouncing Entertainments, Old skool pressure and loads more… He ran his own night called Therapy at the Question Bar, playing House music.
