Tony has been buying music from a very young age and started DJing in 1988 when him and 2 friends chipped in to buy a set of decks and watched the early Acid House & Summer Of Love movement grow.
He took on the DJ name of All-Mighty when he moved into the Hardcore & Drum & Bass scene playing on radio stations such as Ventura, Flare & Touchdown.
In 2001, Tony decided to stop DJing and focus on being a father, husband and his work career.
During those years Tony never stopped buying music but he started to get tired of the Drum & Bass scene and decided that he should go back to his roots and his love affair with House music.
In 2010, Tony took on the new name of Tony Castle to mark a new chapter in his DJ career and made the decision to get back into the music scene and join the Passion FM team.
From there he became a DJ at Promised Land and played in the garden and once played a 8 hour set.
Tony is now a resident at Promised Land & Pure Old Skool
Tony loves all types of music and his motto is “give me two records I will mix them together”.
Tony plays all kinds of music but loves his Soulful House and has set up a new show called SoSmoothSundays dedicating Sundays to the Soulful House Genre
Sundays 2-4 pm
